The weed eater is easy to assemble with or without instructions. The plastic looks cheap, but has held up nicely to the abuse I’ve put it under. My only complaint is with the automatic string feeder. I’ve been unable to get it to work correctly. I’ve read, re-read the instructions, had my wife try it, but it still will not autofeed the string. Every couple minutes I have to turn the trimmer over and manually add more string – the process is really quite simple to do, but does add some inconvenience. Fortunately my yard is small.
