  1. I bought this ST3812B string trimmer at Cleavers True Value store in Chanute Ks. It performed well. Then when I needed to buy a replacement spool for the trimmer the store did not carry replacement spools. according to the store clerk the main warehouse did not stock them because there was not a high enough demand for them. Come to find out the product has been discontinued and trying to find a replacement spool on line has met with nothing but dead ends!!!! I now have a useless piece of equipment. If this is ANY indication of Remington products they have just lost a customer. Is it true that Remington has gone bankrupt??? figures, screw the customer, just get rid of obselete products!!!!

  2. Dissapointed says:

First time I used it, I went to “Bump Feed ” the string trimmer and both ends of the string dissapeared into the spool. I tried and there is no way I can cat the string out of the spool. I checked every store in town and no one caries a replacement spool.Money out the window. You get what you pay for!
