I bought this unit to simply “knock down” once or twice a summer the natural grasses (sheep fescue, etc.) that make up my “high desert” yard. It meets my needs and it was inexpensive. If I lived in an area that required regular, precise yard care then I’d probably look at something with more flexibility and greater power but this is fine for modest needs.
